The colors and textures of oak, pine and leather combined with the beauty of the dense surrounding forrest and abundant wildlife offer a unique year-round outdoor experience to escape everyday life.
Scrappin’ Valley is both a lodge and retreat facility located in northern Newton County, Texas.
The lodge is built around a main room with seating and space for large and small gatherings. It features a limestone fireplace, walls of loblolly pine and floors of reclaimed sinker logs from the Sabine and Neches Rivers as well as access to the dining room, game room, bar and patio
Guest rooms in the lodge and cabins provide quiet, relaxing accommodations for overnight visitors. The facility contains a total of 25 guest rooms, and a 3 bedroom house, with a total of 50 beds. The main lodge hosts 13 guest rooms encompassing the living rooms and dining facility. Each room comes with either two queen beds or a king.
Surrounding the main lodge are three duplex cabins. Each room has two queen beds and a fireplace.
And a short distance away, is the Hilltop cabin with 6 rooms, each with two king beds. Large parking spots with electricity available for bass boats!
Also available for large groups, or for an additional fee is a commercial kitchen.
